Williamson County, TN, Emergency Management Implements Hazard Mitigation Planning Module from BOLDplanning

The Williamson County, TN, Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has relied on BOLDplanning, a division of Agility, and, more specifically, the company’s online preparedness planning platform since 2021. Now, in addition to using the platform’s module for continuity of operations (COOP) planning and emergency operations planning (EOP), the agency will utilize a third one for hazard mitigation planning (HMP).  

Hazard mitigation plans, as emergency managers know, are vital to breaking the cycle of disaster damage, reconstruction, and repeated damage and are also required for eligibility for certain pre- and post-disaster funding.
