BOLDplanning has some exciting news! We’ve just announced our acquisition by Agility Recovery.

Many of you are, no doubt, already familiar with Agility Recovery. The company has served the business continuity space for over three decades and supports customers across the country through software solutions, consulting engagements, and physical recovery solutions.

With this acquisition, Agility will benefit from an immediate strategic entry into the public sector market in which BOLDplanning has a core focus. Specifically, Agility will benefit from BOLDplanning’s strong market reputation and its proven technology applications that are uniquely designed to support Continuity of Operations (COOP), Emergency Operations (EOP) and Hazard Mitigation (HMP) planning, along with other related plan types.

“While the public sector faces increasing regulatory challenges related to emergency management, BOLDplanning continued to provide critical solutions and service to these organizations for more than 15 years,” said Agility CEO Jon Bahl. “By combining Agility’s 33 years of commercial and professional expertise with BOLDplanning’s public sector consulting experience and planning software, we will be able to provide purpose-built solutions for these essential service providers. We look forward to partnering with BOLDplanning’s customer base to help them navigate preparedness planning in this challenging environment.”

BOLDplanning will benefit from Agility’s capital investment, development resources, customer service and support functions, and other infrastructure gains. BOLDplanning anticipates reducing the time to market for new products and services, while expanding its product portfolio through selected Agility offerings.

Even better news: BOLDplanning customers can expect the same great products, expertise and service they’ve come to know and love. The BOLDplanning management and employee team remains intact. Customers can expect little to no impact on service levels or business relationships.

Further, BOLDplanning will be considered a subsidiary of Agility Recovery and will retain its EIN, GSA contract, SAM designation, etc., so the impact on existing or upcoming contracts will be minimal.

“We are excited to join the Agility team, as it gives BOLDplanning the opportunity to invest in delivering even more value to our existing customers and reaching additional customers who will benefit from our public sector expertise,” said Fulton Wold, founder of BOLDplanning. “Our combined efforts will form an unparalleled web-based platform and consulting service for both the public and private sectors today and through the coming years.”

We are so grateful to the many clients over the years with whom we’ve had the privilege of serving. We look forward to many more years of serving as your partner in preparedness as a key part of the Agility team.
