After months of planning and preparation, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in partnership with Tennessee-based BOLDplanning, is now in the final phase of Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan development. The two came together (virtually) on Friday, May 14, 2021, for a COOP Plan Finalization Workshop, facilitated by BOLDplanning Subject Matter Expert, Fulton Wold, CBCP.
As anticipated, the workshop provided plan participants the opportunity to work through comments made after plan grading last month, as well as receive additional recommendations for plan completion. Input and guidance from SMEs, as planners know, ensure COOP plans meet (or exceed) all identified standard requirements. According to Wold, only a few minor adjustments will elevate the plan to 100%, lending to its soon-to-be, citywide adoption.
On behalf of the BOLDplanning team, congratulations to the City of Little Rock on a job well done.
“It was an absolute pleasure to assist the City with its COOP planning needs,” said Wold. “Hats off to everyone who took part in the process, engaged the BOLDplanning.com platform, and above all else, helped make Little Rock an even better-prepared city.”
