This week, April 14 – 16, 2021, BOLDplaning is in Grand Island, Nebraska, for the Nebraska Association of Emergency Management (NAEM) 2021 Conference. Representing the company and providing hands-on demonstrations of its popular, cloud-based planning platform are Fulton Wold, MBCP, and Karla O’Grady, CBCP. It’s the solution of choice for over 10,000 emergency, continuity, and hazard mitigation plans across the country, including the State of Nebraska Emergency Management Agency.
The NAEM Conference 2021, themed “Setting a New Vision in 2021,” kicked off on Wednesday, April 14, with opening remarks provided by Grand Island Mayor, Roger Steele, and NAEM President, Brandon Myers. Nebraska Lt. Governor, Mike Foley, provided the Day 1 keynote presentation. Additional presentations/topics slated for the event include human trafficking, COVID-19 response and communications, among others. An emergency management exercise is scheduled to take place at 8:30 AM on Friday, April 16th.
