Last month, February 24 and 25, 2021, BOLDplanning’s Manager of Global Solutions, James Woulfe, CBCP, traveled to the State of Georgia to facilitate workshops for the Cobb County Emergency Management Agency. The workshops were the culmination of weeks of efforts to migrate the Agency’s Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP) from a static, Word®-based paper document to the dynamic, cloud-based environment of the BOLDplanning.com platform. It’s the solution of choice for over 10,000 organizational (emergency, continuity, and hazard mitigation) plans nationwide.
“Cobb Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) is excited to work with BOLDplanning on our LEOP update,” said Cassie Mazloom, CEMA Director. “With James’ help, our team had two successful days of work on our plan [CobbContinuity.com]. This work helped build the foundation for CEMA to easily update its plan each year using BOLDplanning’s digital format.”
This week, James (along with BOLDplanning representative, Mandi O’Grady), is again facilitating workshops in Cobb County. The goal is to further expand the audience to include executive leadership, plan stakeholders, Emergency Support Function (ESF) coordinators, and representatives from ESF supporting agencies.
Additional LEOP workshops will be held in the months ahead.
Congratulations to Cobb County on its great success with this important project!
