Several government departments in Marshall County, Indiana, participated remotely in Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan development workshops on Thursday, December 10, 2020. The (virtual) kickoff workshop was the first in a series designed to teach planners the basics of continuity planning and how to use the cloud-based BOLDplanning.com platform to develop the contents of their plans. It was led by BOLDplanning representative, James Woulfe, CBCP.
Additional workshops are tentatively planned for January and March 2021, with plan reviews slated for February 2021.
Special thanks to Clyde Avery, Director of Marshall County Emergency Management, for coordinating this important effort to make his community more resilient to disruptive events, such as natural disasters.
