Dealing with a single critical event is tough enough. How about handling multiple events at once?

Judd Freed, MA, CEM, our guest speaker for the upcoming BOLDplanning Thought Leader webinar,  understands this challenge all too well.

As Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for Ramsey County, MN (St. Paul), Judd and his team were faced with devastating riots and social unrest while dealing with operational challenges forced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Simultaneously, the region experienced major, damaging storms.

In our exclusive upcoming webinar, Piling On: Managing Concurrent Critical Events, Judd will discuss in depth how his team successfully dealt with multiple critical events with remote staff and disrupted government services. He’ll also offer insights on how COVID is changing the entire government services delivery model.

Judd has more than 30 years of experience in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, risk and resilience. Since 2003, Judd has served as Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for Ramsey County, MN.

Judd is a frequent presenter and lecturer, and is an Adjunct Professor in Emergency Management at Idaho State University. Judd serves as Vice Chair of Subcommittee on Homeland Security at the National Association of Counties and will be sworn in as President of the International Association of Emergency Managers in November.
