On November 15-20, 2019, members of the International Association of Emergency Managers will converge in Savannah, Georgia, for the 67th Annual Conference and EMEX. This year’s event, themed “Honor the Past, Treasure the Present and Shape the Future,” features numerous high-profile speakers, including Jim Featherstone, Executive Director of the Homeland Security Advisory Council at Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy; Rick Knabb, On-Air Hurricane Expert, The Weather Channel; and Brock Long, Former Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 2017-2019, among others. A variety of relevant topics, ranging from public-private partnerships to public health, will also be covered during the multi-day event’s many breakout sessions. See the full conference program for all the details.
In addition to the conference, IAEM’s Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo (EMEX) provides attendees the opportunity to meet top suppliers to the fields of disaster preparedness and homeland security. Among the many exhibitors will be Tennessee-based BOLDplanning (the solution of choice for more than 10,000 emergency, continuity and mitigation plans nationwide). The company will occupy booth #538.
Representing BOLDplanning will be Cathleen Atchison, MEP, PCP; Fulton Wold, CBCP; and John Taylor (recently named Senior Regional Director). All three welcome the opportunity to meet you and learn more about your organization’s preparedness efforts. They’ll also be taking names for the company’s drawing for a DJI® Spark Mini-Drone and flatscreen TV. So, be sure to stop by booth #538 to register to win.
Safe travels as you head to Savannah! BOLDplanning hopes to see you there!
