Members of the BOLDplanning team have headed to Eugene, Oregon, to participate in the annual conference of the Oregon Emergency Management Association (OEMA). The conference, considered one of the premiere emergency management events in the state, is expected to attract top emergency managers (state and local), elected officials, non-profit agencies, and members of the business community, among others from around the Pacific Northwest. It runs October 7 through October 10, 2019.
OEMA is the professional association of Oregon’s emergency management professionals. It promotes the efforts of Oregon’s communities to plan for all hazards through improved mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery capabilities. The annual conference is a valuable, well attended event with top ranked keynote speakers relevant to the industry and breakout sessions for education opportunities.
Representing BOLDplanning will be newly appointed CEO, Rick Wimberly, as well as Cathleen Atchison, MEP, PCP, and Karla O’Grady, PCP (Lvl 1). All three will be participating in conference activities, and manning the company’s booth. Check out the conference agenda for exhibit hours, breakout session details, and more.
If you’re attending this year’s OEMA conference, we invite you to stop by the BOLDplanning booth for a hands-on exhibit of the company’s online platform for continuity, emergency and hazard mitigation planning. Also, be sure to register for BOLDplanning’s drawings for a DJI® Spark Mini-Drone and a flatscreen TV. Both will be given away near the close of exhibits.
If you’re not in Eugene for the annual OEMA conference this week, mark your calendars. Next year, it will be held in Gleneden, Oregon, from October 5-8, 2020. Registration will become available on June 1, 2020.
