Healthcare coalitions play a vital role in supporting the nation’s public health and emergency response capabilities. That’s why it’s imperative for them to not only collaborate with the communities they serve, but also with each other.

Thankfully, events like the National Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Conference (NHCPC), which took place this week in New Orleans, Louisiana, provide coalition members an opportunity to learn more about the missions, challenges, programs and progress of others as they continue to move forward.

Among those in attendance of the seventh annual event, which was themed “Coalitions Facing the Future; Tackling Emerging Threats Together,” were BOLDplanning representatives, John Taylor, CBCP, and James Woulfe, CHEP, CHPCP, CBCP.

BOLDplanning provides emergency management training, exercises, and plan development for healthcare facilities and public health departments. The company also has a keen understanding of the CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule, and is helping healthcare facilities across the country to achieve
