Nationwide Test of Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Postponed Until October 3, 2018

Due to the ongoing response efforts to Hurricane Florence, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has postponed the nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) previously scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2018. The test will now be conducted on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
