Williamson County, TX Office of Emergency Management (WILCO OEM) and BOLDplanning sponsored a one-day symposium in the Austin area yesterday, April 12, 2018. This highly informative and well-attended event featured a wide array of speakers, including Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 6 Administrator Tony Robinson, National Weather Service Warning Coordination Meteorologist Paul Yura, and Williamson County Director of Emergency Management Jarred Thomas.
“As a provider of cloud-based planning systems for Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) and Emergency Operations Plans (EOP), we’re always looking for opportunities to engage with the Emergency Management community” says BOLDplanning Solutions Director John Taylor. “This event exceeded all our expectations, and we hope to replicate it in other host locations in the months ahead.”
At BOLDplanning, we’re 100% committed to our industry, and believe that knowledge and information sharing is essential to stay relevant. Be sure to keep an eye on our blog, where next week we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the key content covered during the Texas symposium. Thanks again to everyone who joined us in Austin. We believe it was time well spent, and look forward to continuing the conversation.
